Clean Coal Technologies, Inc. Will Hold a Webcast on Dec 1, 2015 to Update Status of Test Facility at AES Shady Point Plant in Oklahoma

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / November 16, 2015 / Clean Coal Technologies, Inc., (OTC PINK: CCTC) ("CCTI" or the "Company"), an emerging cleaner-energy company utilizing patented technology to convert raw coal into a cleaner burning and more efficient fuel, today announced a webcast on December 1, 2015 to update on the commissioning and testing of the test plant at the AES Shady Point coal power plant, located in Panama, Oklahoma. It is anticipated that the test plant will be ready to start testing Powder River Basin coal before the end of this calendar year. The call will also update the shareholders and investors on the growing interest from around the world in our technology and the proposed visits of high profile companies to observe the plant in action. Dial in details for the webcast will be posted to the corporate website in advance of the call:

"As I noted in September, this effort is part of the final stages of a long journey to commercialize our Pristine-M(TM) technology," said Robin Eves, CEO and President of CCTI, "and we are most pleased to be working with AES and its team of experts. Our progress in Oklahoma could not be timelier. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), coal is the second source of primary energy globally at 30 percent, and accounts for over 40 percent of worldwide electricity produced. In its World Energy Outlook 2015 just released on November 10, the IEA forecasts global energy use to increase by 30 percent by 2040, with most of this growth coming from emerging economies, mainly China, India and south-east Asia, with the latter two forecasted to triple in that timeframe. "

"The journey that CCTI has undertaken is grounded in the fact that 65 percent of the world's coal reserves are lower rank subbituminous coal," Eves added. "Our patented processes offer a viable approach to both developed and developing nations with abundant low rank coal resources to upgrade such coals to a clean, stable product for electric power generation. CCTI's processes may also be modified to produce a stream of higher value-adds, such as feedstocks for pulverized coal injection in the iron and steel industry, the activated carbon industry, and for coal-to-X conversion, including fuels, chemical feedstocks, and fertilizers."
